To change the password of your Windows VPS or your Linux VPS, you only need to have access to the control panel within our client area. The change is made directly through the panel and will force the change in the system. The VPS must be shut down after the procedure, and started again through the panel.

This procedure is compatible with both Linux VPS and Windows VPS. However, for it to work on the Windows VPS, the VPS cannot have a user other than "Administrator". In addition, the system cannot be installed on a partition other than the default one.

To change the VPS password, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account in the client area, go to the services page, and click on the service corresponding to the VPS whose password should be changed:

  2. Below, on the VPS page, the VPS panel will load. Then click on "Settings":

  3. Then click on "Change Password":

  4. Set your new password and click on "Change Password":

  5. A success message will be displayed if the change was made. Click Ok. However, you still need to shut down the VPS.

  6. Click the button to force the VPS shutdown. The VPS must be completely powered off.

  7. After confirming that the VPS is offline, click the button to start it.

Once these steps are completed, the password should have been changed. Keep in mind that it may take some time for the VPS to start, especially if your VPS is Windows.

If the password still has not been changed, make sure the VPS was actually shut down and started (and not restarted). The VPS must shut down completely before it is started again.
