HostMF offers Windows Server installation templates for Windows VPS; however, we only provide the evaluation versions supplied by Microsoft.

When reinstalling the system, it is necessary to activate the evaluation period, which, since these are pre-installed images, already has an expired evaluation period.

To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Windows VPS via Remote Desktop.
  2. Inside the VPS remote desktop, click the search menu of Windows Server (next to the Start button).
  3. Search for "PowerShell", right-click "Windows PowerShell" and select the "Run as Administrator" option.
  4. Inside PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter: slmgr -rearm
  5. Wait for the confirmation message, then type the command to restart the VPS and press Enter: Restart-Computer

After the procedure, the VPS will start with the renewed evaluation period.
