Your Windows VPS may become unavailable for access via remote desktop, or in the case of Linux VPS the SSH may not be working. To be able to access it and fix the problem preventing remote access to the server, it will be necessary to access it via VNC.

VNC creates a proxy within the host of the data center where the VPS is hosted, and allows access to the server even if it has no internet connection.

Please note that this tutorial is compatible with the HostMF control panel. See the plans for our VPS:

Follow the steps below to access VNC.

  1. Access the client center:
Access the client center and click on my services

  2. Click on the corresponding VPS:
In your list of services, click on the row that corresponds to the VPS you need to restart, as shown in the screenshot below

  3. VPS Control Panel:
At this step you will already be on the VPS control panel screen. On this screen you can check the status of your VPS

  4. Click the VNC icon
In the VPS panel, click the VNC option, as shown in the screenshot below:

  5. Start the VNC Viewer
In the popup that opens on your screen, click the option to start VNC in your browser

After these steps, the VNC screen should open in your browser, allowing the server to be managed through the data center. As in the example of a Windows VPS below:

Windows VPS: Sending CTRL + ALT + DELETE

Note that to send the CTRL + ALT + DELETE command, you will not be able to use your keyboard. For this, VNC provides a button that sends this command to the VPS. Just click the left menu at the corner of the VNC screen, and then click the icon indicated in the screenshot below:
